Literature based dance drama with live choir
This production takes you on a journey through the different eras of Kannada Literature spanning more than a millennia, from the classical to the medieval to the contemporary. Through the medium of dance, the narrators recount some of the most valuable and significant contributions of the poets of Karnataka and trace the path that the written word took. An amalgam of the classical and folk forms of dance, music and Kannada literature, the ballet attempts to depict the various ideologies of the litterateurs and the relevance of their vision to the society, then and now.
